Packing can be overwhelming, and I was known as an over packer. But I had to change since we were long-term travelers. We can’t carry around too many unnecessary things. So, I wanted to share with you what we have packed in our suitcases.
We have a few higher-priced clothing items, but we typically are not ones for expensive clothes. Some of our clothes are still hand-me-downs. It’s important to remember that you DO NOT need to go and buy the new and fanciest things for travel. Save that money for some adventures!
But there is always time to improve, which can make traveling much more comfortable.
So let’s dive inside the suitcase!
Suitcase
There is the age-old question: Should I bring a suitcase or just a backpack? We decided to get suitcases, and I am happy that we did!
We purchased the Monos carry-on hardshell suitcase during a Black Friday sale. These were the first suitcases we have ever owned, which is pretty impressive for being 27 and 28 years old.
Backpack
We also travel with one backpack each. We use the Wandr 31-liter PRVKE bag. We store a lot of our electronics in those bags and use them as day bags.
We love all the pockets and different storage areas to organize our goods and are always amazed by how much they fit!
Bluetooth Headphones
We would die without our Bluetooth headphones. We use them all the time, whether we are traveling, working, or calling friends and family.
We both use Google Pixel Earbuds. I, Becky, have Brandon’s old ones, and Brandon uses the Google Pixel Earbuds Pro. We have also used Raycon Everyday Earbuds in the past, and they were great!
**Brandon also swears you need noise-canceling ones; I beg to differ**
International Power Adapter
This is mainly for international travelers but I STRONGLY believe that I will use this item at home and I’ll explain.
This international power adapter is the best. It has USB and USB-C charging ports and multiple country configurations. You can plug so many things into it, and it is fantastic!!
Power Bank
We always travel with a power bank on us. It is great for travel days and for day trips. The last thing you want is to run out of juice trying to find your accommodation or communicate with someone.
Clothing
Now let’s get into the beef – clothing. I’ll be honest, I hate clothes. I don’t know why, but I do. Shopping for clothes is the worst, so you’ll find the majority of my clothes on Amazon 🙂
